Cerro Mirador

This Centre shows you one of the few tracks looking to the sea. From this place you can see the Magallanes strait and Tierra del Fuego. The Mirador Hill has its higher point at 600 meters. This Ski Centre is located at 8 kilometers to the west of Punta Arenas, inside the Magallanes National Reserve.

The Centre has 14 tracks, for all kind of levels and in its mayor part are of medium difficulty. There is 1 ski lift and 1 chairlift.

The snow has an especial shape due to the wind effects, which gave it an attractive and singular characteristic to the ski and snow practice. The tracks are narrows and they are marks among the trees.

Access

Go from Punta Arenas City, in the main Square Muñoz Gomero, there are local buses, which go to Cerro Mirador on weekends, also there are transfers.
