Municipal Casino of Viña del Mar

It was inaugurated in 1930 with a large number of game rooms, a discotheque and a Hotel, the “Hotel del Mar. A five stars hotel with elegant restaurants, halls and gardens, that invites artists to stay. Located in 199 San Martin Avenue.

 

 

 

The Sea Hotel

An exclusive and luxurious Hotel located in 199 San Martin Avenue. Is part of the Enjoy Casino. It has a good restaurant, a convention centre, Spa halls, discotheque, and Casino. This five stars Hotel is the best of the Region.

 

 

International Song Festival of Viña del Mar

One of the most important festivals in Latin America, performed during summer in February every year.

The first festival was in 1959, when a director of the Tourism Department of Viña del Mar City Council brought a group of musicians to an Art Fair at Quinta Vergara Palace gardens. It was a success and a year later an amphitheatre outdoors was built in Quinta Vergaras garden. An “Acoustic Shell” that helped to project the sound was installed.
It is the most important festival in Chile.

Floral Clock

Built in 1962 for the Football World Cup. It is made of plants and flowers, the electric parts of the mechanism were brought from Switzerland. To maintain the clock in good conditions new technologies were adopted. If you take a picture of yourself with the clock, the legend says you will return to Viña.
