Patagonia Hot Springs

Amarillo Hot Springs: Located 31 kms. of Chaitén. Access is via Amarillo town and then follow a detour 5 kms. East. They are surrounded by luxuriant vegetation. A characteristic of this Hot Springs is the rusticity of the place. It has swimmings pools, naturals pools and rustic cabins, here you can have a special relation with an exceptional natural environment. Its water contains a big amount of sulphur. These thermal waters offers relaxing and healthy treatments. There is also a restaurant and camp site. Many outdoor activities are offered like: fishing, trekking, excursions and nature observation.




Puerto Bonito Hot Springs: This are located next to Palena River, between Raúl Marín Balmaceda Port and La Junta town. Access is via Marín Balmaceda Port, there you need to take a ship, when you are in the Selva Virgen area go through the forest and walk 1/2 hour, you will find a natural pool with brown dark water that is around 45ºC. Be careful with the pool because the walls are very slippery. Here there is no touristic infrastructure.




Puyuhuapi lodge & Spa (ex-Puyuhuapi Hot Springs): Situated at South of Puyuhuapi Port, in the West bank of Ventisquero Sinus. Access is by sea or by road, but in both ways the journey finishes crossing the Sinus by boat. This Lodge is surrounded by unique native Chilean Jungle, some of the most important species are ferns, which are very big. Services offered are thermal baths to relax and tranquility for the guests. There are excursions around the area and visits to Queulat National Park that has an atonishing glacier, kayak around the islands and channels, fly fishing of salmon, brown trout and rainbow trout and observation of flora and fauna. Accommodations are available in the Hotel or cabins, there are also restaurant, bar and thermal swimming pools. Hot Springs are open all year round.
