The Aconcagua Valley

The Aconcagua Valley is located near Santiago (the Capital of Chile) and Valparaiso (the principal Port of Chile). It includes “San Felipe” Provence and their Cities Councils, which are: “Llay-Llay”, “Panquehue”, “Putaendo”, “Santa María”, “San Felipe”, and also “Los Andes” Provence with the Cities Councils of “Rinconada”, “Calle Larga”, “San Estaban” and “Los Andes”.

The vineyards here have a good result product of the soils, weather (rainy and cold in winter and very hot in summer) and the location of this area. These are some of the best wines of the country.



Agustinos Vineyard

In this Vineyards are produced the following wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and the especial organic “Maitén”.

At the beginning this lands were property of the Ibáñez family, and the first Vineyards that they had was called “Agustinos”.

Sena Vineyard

This Vineyard was the result of the union of two families the Mondavi and the Errázuriz. The last one had Vineyards from 1870, but they join with the Mondavi family.

The “Seña” Vineyard mixes six varieties of different vine-stocks: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenére, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

San Esteban Vineyard

The most important products in the San Esteban Vineyard are the traditional wines and the especial “In Situ” and “Río Alto”.

The owners of this Vineyard are José Vicente and his son Horacio, both experts in the wine industry.

Von Siebenthal Vineyard

This Vineyard was created with the financial contribution of four friends in 1998.

The Von Siebenthal Vineyard is opened every Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 hours. It is necessary to do reservation, if you want to taste the products.

Sánchez de Loria Vineyard

This traditional Vineyard is located in the “Panquehue” area.

The story of these lands started with the first member of the family, José Teodoro Sánchez, who arrived in Chile, in 1785.The Vineyard was founded later by Enrique Sánchez de Loira Faulkner. His vine-stocks Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Torontel were the oldest in the area.

Some of the exclusive products of the Vineyards are Reserve Wines and Sweet and Generous Wines, which are: “Cabernet Sauvignon Oidor Gran Reserva”, “Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc”, “Sauvignon Blanc Doña Tadea” and the sweet old wine “San Roque” The Sánchez de Loria Vineyard is opened from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 to 19:30 hours and Sunday from 10:00 to 19:30 hours. It is possible to do reservations to visit the vineyard.

Viña Errázuriz

This Vineyard was founded by Maximiano Errázuriz, in 1870. He imported very fine products from France.

Some of the most important wines in this Vineyard are, Red Wines: “Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve” (2005), “Shiraz (or Syrah) La Cumbre” (2005) and “Kai” (Carmenére) (2005). White Wines: “Sauvignon Blanc Single Vineyard” (2007) and “Chardonnay Max Reserva” (2006).

The Vineyard is opened from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 hours.
